A New Year's Eve cenone in Rome is a dinner of several courses served at the table, almost always with a meat or fish menu, water and wine included, a midnight toast with sparkling wine and, afterwards, music with a DJ set or a show. At most venues the table stays reserved all night: dinner starts around 20:30 or 21:00, the toast is at midnight and dancing goes on until 4am. The 2026 menus are confirmed by the venues in the autumn and shown on each event page.
There are more venues to consider. Casale 4.5 serves dinner at €125 in the main hall and €110 in the veranda, with €60 for children and €50 for toddlers. In the centre, Target charges €135 upstairs, with live entertainment, and €110 downstairs; Toy Room €190 at the Aforisma restaurant and €160 in the piano bar room. Then there are Heaven (€119 and €99), Hanami (€95, all-you-can-eat sushi €80), Puro EUR (€125 and €105), Sublime La Villa (€250, €180, buffet €100), Villa dei Cesari (€120 with wine until midnight), Villa dei Principi (€105, €120, €135), the Park Hotel Villa Grazioli (veglione, the New Year's Eve dinner-dance, €120) and Atlantico Live (€145, €135, €125, with cabaret).
The cenone is the full package: dinner and party in the same place. The veglione is the same evening seen from the party side, with dinner as the main way in. If you just want to dance, choose the after-dinner party: entry after 23:00 or after midnight, with a drink and the toast, such as €29 at Exe Roma or €40 at the Eden Experience. The two packages often run side by side at the same venue, so a group can split between those who have dinner and those who arrive later.
In the historic centre the dinner is held in hotels and palazzi: the DoubleTree by Hilton Rome Monti a short walk from Termini (gala dinner €140), Opus Club in Flaminio (€170), Palazzo Brancaccio with a gala dinner in its frescoed salons (€350), and Boscolo Circo Massimo and Casina Valadier in Villa Borghese on request. In Rome South and EUR there are Casa 900 (€130), Exe Roma with dinner show and club (one dinner at €99), the Mercure Roma West with its dinner, party and overnight package (one dinner at €135), the Salone delle Colonne (€160) and Villa Grant with dinner in the Sala Piscina, the pool room (€150). In Rome North: the Eden Experience at the Stadio Olimpico (gala dinners, one at €135), Profumo and Qvinto at Tor di Quinto (buffet dinner €80, served dinner €160), and Villa Cassia on request. On the coast and outside Rome: Casale Traiano in Fiumicino (€90), Castello Miramare in Maccarese and Residenza Castelverde, both on request.
Families with children will find dedicated menus and seats at the table with their parents at a number of venues, with children's packages such as Casale Traiano's at €45. Couples and groups of friends usually choose a villa or a restaurant with a party to finish; if you want to stay the night, there are the hotels in the centre and in EUR.
Online sales open in the autumn; smaller venues, such as villas and restaurants, sell out their tables between late November and mid-December. Where sales are open, you buy from the event page and receive a voucher with a QR code straight away; where the venue prefers to manage tables directly, you book on WhatsApp.
