Booking & the night

Do you speak English?

Yes. Write to us in English on WhatsApp or by email and we reply in English. We speak to the venue in Italian on your behalf, so you don’t have to.

How do I book a New Year’s Eve package?

Choose a venue and a package, then send us a message (WhatsApp +39 327 023 3503 or info@capodanno.it) with the number of guests. We check availability with the venue and send you the booking steps before you pay anything.

Are the prices per person?

Yes. Every price on this site is per person and refers to one specific package at one venue. We never show “from” prices: what you see is the price of that package.

What does a New Year’s Eve package include?

It depends on the package. A gala dinner (the Italian cenone) normally includes a served multi-course dinner, drinks at the table, the midnight toast and the party afterwards. A party-only ticket covers entry after midnight and sometimes a drink. Each package on the venue page lists exactly what is included.

Is there a dress code?

Most gala dinners and palaces expect smart or elegant clothing; clubs ask for smart-casual. Where the venue sets a dress code, you’ll find it on its page under “Good to know”.

Is there a minimum age?

Clubs often set a minimum age for the party, and some ask for ID at the door. Dinners in restaurants, hotels and villas usually welcome children, often with a kids’ menu. Check “Good to know” on each venue page, or ask us.

What time does the night start and end?

Dinners usually start between 20:00 and 21:30, the countdown is at midnight and parties carry on into the early hours. Party-only tickets typically let you in from shortly after midnight. Each venue page shows its programme.

How do I get back to my hotel after midnight?

Taxis are in very high demand right after midnight: book a car in advance, choose a venue near your hotel, or pick a hotel venue and stay the night. Our guide to getting around Rome on New Year’s Eve has the details.

Can you cater for vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free guests?

Many venues can, if you ask when booking. Tell us your requirements in your first message and we’ll confirm with the venue.

Is the Circus Maximus concert free?

In recent years Rome’s New Year’s Eve concert at the Circus Maximus has been a free public event. The line-up is announced in December: see our Circus Maximus guide.

New Year’s Eve in Rome

Where should I celebrate New Year's Eve in Rome?

The parties we list fall into four areas: the historic centre, with hotels and palazzi (DoubleTree Rome Monti, Boscolo Circo Massimo, Palazzo Brancaccio, Casina Valadier, Opus Club); EUR and Rome South, with venues between Piazza Marconi and the villas along the Via Ardeatina; Rome North, with Eden Experience by the Stadio Olimpico, Villa Cassia, Profumo and Qvinto; and the coast, with Casale Traiano, Castello Miramare and Residenza Castelverde.

How much does New Year's Eve in Rome cost?

It depends on the package. Party only, with entry after midnight: €29 at Exe Roma, €35 at Mercure Roma West, €40 at Eden Experience. With the toast and entry from 11pm: €50 at Room 26, €70 at Opus Club. Buffet dinner: €80 at Profumo and Qvinto. Served dinner: €90 at Casale Traiano, €350 for the gala dinner at Palazzo Brancaccio. Some venues confirm their 2027 prices on request.

What New Year's Eve events are there in Rome?

Served dinners in villas, hotels and restaurants, dinner shows with entertainment during the meal (Palazzo Brancaccio, Salone delle Colonne, Villa Grant, Exe Roma), parties at the clubs (Eden Experience, Exe Roma, Opus Club, Room 26), buffet dinners, party-only tickets at many venues and the free concert that the City of Rome usually stages at the Circus Maximus.

Dinner or a club in Rome: which is better?

A New Year's dinner gives you food and party in the same place, with a table reserved all night: at Casale Traiano it costs €90, and it is the choice of couples, groups and families. At a club, entry alone costs €29 at Exe Roma and €70 at Opus Club, and suits people who eat at home and just want to dance. Some venues do both: diners have their table, and latecomers come in with an after-dinner ticket.

When should I book New Year's Eve in Rome?

Online sales open in the autumn. Villas, restaurants and private tables sell out between late November and mid-December; clubs keep selling party tickets until the last few days, at rising prices. Where sales are open you buy from the venue page and receive your QR-code voucher straight away; where the venue manages its own tables, you book on WhatsApp.

Do New Year's Eve events in Rome include dinner?

Packages labelled "cenone" (the traditional New Year's Eve dinner) or "cena" (dinner) include a served or buffet dinner, usually with water and wine on the table and the midnight toast. Packages labelled "ingresso" (entry), "ticket" or "party" do not include dinner: they get you into the party with one drink and, if entry is before midnight, the toast. On every venue page, the "What's included" section lists exactly what each package covers.

Are there New Year's Eve events in Rome suitable for children?

Yes, these venues have a children's menu and a seat at the family table: Casale Traiano (€45), Exe Roma (€50), Casale 4.5 (€60, with a baby package at €50), Boscolo Circo Massimo, Salone delle Colonne (€70) and Mercure Roma West (€80). You will find them all on the New Year's Eve in Rome with children page.

What time do New Year's Eve parties in Rome start and finish?

Dinners open between 8.30pm and 9pm on 31 December 2026; party tickets give entry from 11pm or from 12.30am; Room 26 opens at 11pm. The toast is at midnight and almost every party goes on until 4am on 1 January, or until 3am at Villa Grant.
