New Year's Eve dinner shows in Rome

Palazzo Brancaccio, on Via Merulana, is the last noble palazzo built in Rome: the gala dinner in its frescoed salons costs €350 and makes for a truly exclusive evening. The Salone delle Colonne, in EUR, is a monumental rationalist hall with an immersive show: adult dinner at €160, children's dinner at €70. Villa Grant, in the south of the city, sets its tables around the indoor pool: a served dinner at €150 with a welcome aperitivo, with a seafood or meat menu. Exe Roma in EUR pairs dinner with a music show, with a meat or fish menu (Silver €99, Gold €125, Platinum €140), and then opens its club room. The Boscolo Circo Massimo brings live music to its gala dinners, on request.

Other dinner shows are worth a look. Atlantico Live is particularly theatrical: EUR's concert hall is reset with tables in the stalls, the gallery and the front-row seats facing the stage, and dinner costs €125, €135 or €145 depending on the section, with live cabaret during the meal and an area with entertainment for children. Villa dei Principi, in Cerveteri, alternates courses with performances by its artists: dinner at €105, €120 or €135, with an open bar from 00:30. Hanami Restaurant in EUR pairs its all-you-can-eat sushi with a Brazilian show in the dining room: €80 for the sushi package, €95 for the full Platinum dinner.

How the evening works

You arrive between 20:30 and 21:00, the show accompanies the courses, the toast is at midnight and then the party starts with a DJ set. Your table stays reserved all night. Dinner shows are designed for those who want a seated, polished evening with entertainment, without having to move on.
