How much does New Year's Eve in Rome cost?
It depends on the package. Party only, with entry after midnight: €29 at Exe Roma, €35 at Mercure Roma West, €40 at Eden Experience. With the toast and entry from 11pm: €50 at Room 26, €70 at Opus Club. Buffet dinner: €80 at Profumo and Qvinto. Served dinner: €90 at Casale Traiano, €350 for the gala dinner at Palazzo Brancaccio. Some venues confirm their 2027 prices on request.
What New Year's Eve events are there in Rome?
Served dinners in villas, hotels and restaurants, dinner shows with entertainment during the meal (Palazzo Brancaccio, Salone delle Colonne, Villa Grant, Exe Roma), parties at the clubs (Eden Experience, Exe Roma, Opus Club, Room 26), buffet dinners, party-only tickets at many venues and the free concert that the City of Rome usually stages at the Circus Maximus.
Dinner or a club in Rome: which is better?
A New Year's dinner gives you food and party in the same place, with a table reserved all night: at Casale Traiano it costs €90, and it is the choice of couples, groups and families. At a club, entry alone costs €29 at Exe Roma and €70 at Opus Club, and suits people who eat at home and just want to dance. Some venues do both: diners have their table, and latecomers come in with an after-dinner ticket.
When should I book New Year's Eve in Rome?
Online sales open in the autumn. Villas, restaurants and private tables sell out between late November and mid-December; clubs keep selling party tickets until the last few days, at rising prices. Where sales are open you buy from the venue page and receive your QR-code voucher straight away; where the venue manages its own tables, you book on WhatsApp.
Where to spend New Year's Eve in Rome: areas, packages and prices
Rome offers very different ways to see in the new year on 31 December. The City Centre has restaurants, hotels, dinner shows and clubs; Rome North is the place for villas and country houses; along the coast and outside the city you will find larger venues, castles and estates set in greenery or close to the sea.
Packages range from a party-only ticket after midnight to the full cenone (Italy's big New Year's Eve dinner) followed by a party. Entry after midnight keeps costs down, while for dinner and party the price depends on the venue and on what is included. The more exclusive packages can add reserved tables, bottles and an overnight stay.

How to choose your New Year's Eve in Rome
The best areas for New Year's Eve in Rome. The Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna are ideal for a night in the heart of monumental Rome. Trastevere combines trattorias, cocktail bars and an authentic atmosphere; Monti has wine bars, creative restaurants and bars a few steps from the Colosseum. Testaccio and Ostiense are the liveliest districts for carrying on after dinner, while Prati and Ponte Milvio let you combine an aperitivo, dinner and local bars. For a more refined evening, consider Parioli, Via Veneto and the panoramic rooftop terraces.
Rome's hidden corners. Beyond the classics, the Coppedè quarter surprises with fairy-tale buildings and Art Nouveau details, the Jewish Ghetto offers intimate views and a strong food identity, while Garbatella keeps a more working-class soul. The Janiculum (Gianicolo) is one of the most striking viewpoints, especially at sunset. If you are staying on for 1 January, Villa Borghese, the Pincio, the Lungotevere riverside and the streets between Regola, Campo de' Fiori and Piazza Farnese are perfect for a quieter stroll.
Roman traditions and New Year flavours. The cenone is still a great classic, with a midnight toast, sparkling wine and lentils, eaten for luck and prosperity. You can choose a full dinner with music or build a more varied evening around an aperitivo, a restaurant and a party after dinner.
