Palazzo Brancaccio is the last aristocratic palazzo built in Rome: frescoed halls and monumental staircases that, on the night of 31 December, become the setting for a gala dinner.

The long-standing format is a dinner show: a New Year's Eve feast served at the table, a show during dinner and music until late.

Where it is and how to get there

Palazzo Brancaccio is at Via Merulana 248, on the Colle Oppio hill, between Esquilino and the Colosseum. It is inside the historic centre: take metro line A (Vittorio Emanuele, Manzoni) or line B (Cavour, Colosseo), or a taxi. The ZTL (Rome's limited-traffic zone) stays active on the night of the 31st, and streets around the Circus Maximus may be closed for the public celebrations.

New Year's Eve 2027: the evening

The gala dinner starts at 21:00 in the palazzo's frescoed halls, with a show between courses. The countdown begins at 23:59, at midnight there is a toast to welcome 2027, and then music and dancing in the halls with a DJ set until late.

Prices and packages

A single package: the Cena di Gala (gala dinner) at €350, served at the table in the palazzo's halls, with show, toast and party. The 2027 menu is confirmed in the autumn. Places are limited by the capacity of the halls, and this evening tends to sell out early.
